O grupo de K-pop BTS foi anunciado como um dos indicados ao Grammy 2022. Os sul-coreanos concorrem na categoria Melhor Performance de Duo/Grupo, com a música “Butter“, na premiação que ocorre no dia 21 de janeiro próximo.
Recém-premiados como Duo ou Grupo Pop Favorito e Canção Pop Favorita e Artista do Ano no American Music Awards (AMA) neste último fim de semana, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V e Jungkook ainda participaram do evento de anúncio dos indicados, apresentando a categoria Melhor Álbum Alternativo.
Essa é a segunda indicação de BTS ao Grammy. Na edição de 2021, eles concorreram também na Melhor Performance de Duo/Grupo, com o hit “Dynamite”. As vencedoras, no entanto, foram Lady Gaga e Ariana Grande, com “Rain on Me”.
Butter
Lançada em 21 de maio, o single “Butter”, de BTS, foi um sucesso mundial. A canção passou dez semanas em primeiro lugar no chart musical Billboard Hot 100, sendo desbancados depois somente por outro lançamento deles, “Permission to Dance”.

Os sul-coreanos não são estranhos do topo das paradas, já que “Butter” também teve seu tempo em primeiro lugar no Hot 100, logo na estreia.
BTS é um grupo de K-pop formado em 2013 pela empresa Big Hit Music, hoje sob o selo da Hybe Labels. Os sete jovens são considerados o maior ato do gênero a nível mundial.
Neste próximo fim de semana, eles saem em turnê por estádios nos Estados Unidos, marcando o retorno deles aos palcos com público.
